Camrail launches the payment service
train tickets through Orange Money |
Within the framework of the continuous improvement of the ralway transporation service, Camrail, dealer in the Cameroonian railway, announces that she has just proceeded with Orange Cameroon, in the launching of the electronic payment service of the tickets for InterCity transportation. Effective since February 4th, 2015, this service open to the subscribers of the Orange network provides from now on the sale of dematerialised train tickets through the application Orange Money . The travelers therfore have the possibility of buying throug their phones Intercity tickets, at least two hours before the journey by means of the code #150#. The messages of confirmation received on the telephone take into account the tickets details and must be presented to the Camrail boarding team.

This new method of payment permits the travelers to realize substantial savings in time, and also to improve access to the InterCity train tickets .To this respect, CamrailL has set up a reservation service by e-mail or telephone for the sale of as wel as sale counters with their different partners. As such, up comming weeks, the service for the electronic payment of tickets with other network operators. This major development in electronic payment in railway transportation, intervenes just when Camrail prepares to celebrate her fifteen years of success in Cameroon.
